You guys. This wedding was the WHOLE PACKAGE. We are STILL in a complete high from Jacob + Emily’s wedding at The Barn at the Springs. We were smiling the ENTIRE day and there were so many moments that were both so special and fun! So hold on to your britches, because you’re about to be BLOWN away by how amazing this day was!
These guys thought of EVERYTHING. We were in heaven with all of the meaningful details that kept coming up throughout the day. Every part of this wedding had meaning. From Emily’s jewelry, to the groomsmen’s socks, to who they chose to cater (Taco’s For Life, btw!!!), their ceremony, to the first looks down to their getaway car.
We loved that Emily wanted to document every moment. Every person who was at their wedding showed so much love toward them and were so supportive and excited for this time in their life! We will always remember the special moment between Emily and her mom in the bridal suite as she helped Emily button up her dress and put on the jewelry passed down from her grandma. We were all shedding tears and could feel how LOVED Emily is by her family and God.
They had a HUGE bridal party and it was a BLAST hanging out with them!! They have the most supportive, fun, hilarious, and loving group of friends and family! We loved that everybody was so willing to help and participate in every thing we asked them to! We took the time to take a photo of both Jacob and Emily with each of their bridesmaids/groomsmen and it was SO cool seeing how they cherished each relationship.
The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. This was the first time we had witnessed a “washing of the feet” ceremony and it was probably the most special moment we’ve witnessed so far! Jacob and Emily both took turns washing each others feet and saying an individual prayer for one another. It was the perfect representation of our Savior and what He does for us, and how we should serve and love our spouses just as he serves and loves us.
Something we caught on to was the “Hitch” theme throughout the day! From the music, to the bridal party being announced with showing off their dance moves, it was SO fun to watch! The dance party at the end of the night had us CRACKING UP, especially their grandma’s getting the party started and showing off their moves!
GAH! We could just go ON AND ON AND ON about this day. But most of all, Jacob + Emily, we just love you two SO much. We admire your unconditional love towards each other and everyone you are surrounded by. We are so excited for you and can’t wait to see what God has in store for you!!
