Romantic Desert Wedding in Gilbert, AZ || Northwest Arkansas Wedding Photographers
Shannon and I are cousins, only a year and a day apart! We always grew up in different states so we didn’t really have a chance to see each other very often. I loved seeing all of her and Alec's adventures through social media (since living across the country, that’s my main source of keeping up with everyone, haha!) and I had a feeling they’d be married one day. Everyone could see how over the moon happy she was! And soon enough, they were engaged! It has always been a dream of mine to photograph a wedding in the desert so I’m sure you can imagine my excitement when Shannon chose me to fly out to Arizona to take their pictures! (I may have begged, a little…)
Shannon + Alec decided to elope, which honestly, i’m a little jealous! Their little ceremony was so sweet and intimate, and there’s nothing more romantic than two people who just want to be married!
I wanted these photos to be special for them. Shannon has the kindest and most generous heart, always looking out for those around her. So I felt like she deserved to be spoiled! We put together the best team for the job. I got to meet and get to know the BEST vendors! And it all came together perfectly.
Wedding photography is my favorite because I just love watching couples who genuinely love and care for one another. I love seeing the glow of pure bliss and how all of the cares and stresses of the world just melt away once they see each other. Alec treated Shannon like a QUEEN. The second he saw her, you could tell he was so proud and humbled to have her by his side. They had me smiling and gushing the entire time!!
Alec + Shannon, thank you for this amazing experience! It was an absolute BLAST spending time with you and capturing this time in your lives. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for you!!
